Drawing, Painting and Illustration
Learn to use drawing and painting in an expressive, illustrative way.
This playful course focuses on how artists use linework, tone and colour to create form, mood and impact. Through guided sessions, we’ll explore process over outcome, allowing you to discover ways of illustrating that feel satisfying to you. You’ll experiment and develop your skills in various visual styles, using pencil, markers, gouache, mixed media layering, observational drawing, and creative typography. This is a relaxed course for beginners, where you can develop confidence and familiarity through low-pressure practice.
Learning Outcomes:
Increased confidence with drawing and painting materials
Skills in pressure shading, mark-making, and colour to add depth, mood, and texture
Strengthened observational skills, drawing what is seen, not assumed
Confidence in using simplified and stylised illustrative approaches beyond realism

The Book of Me
The Book of Me” (Crafting Creative Wellbeing Reminders)
Learn to combine collage, interactive elements, and colouring techniques, and follow playful prompts to craft pages for well-being. Each week follows fun, mindful themes, like music, comfort, or favourite things, to construct a creative journal. This is a hands-on crafting course for light-hearted self-reflection, so you don’t need to write a lot; you can opt to cut out the printed guidance or doodle your thoughts.
By the end of the course, you’ll have a creative keepsake to revisit whenever you need to boost your mood.
Learning Outcomes:
Complete a compilation of handmade book pages that have personal meaning
